Announcing an important notice on the proposed working arrangements for the meetings impacted by Covid-19, the World Customs Organization (WCO) stated that focus has been placed on exploring alternative arrangements that would allow the WCO to continue advancing its work as international travel will very likely remain restricted for the following months.

The proposed arrangements document is developed by the WCO Secretariat, in consultation with the Council Chairperson and Vice-Chairpersons for WCO meetings scheduled until June 2020.

Notably, 83rd Session of the Policy Commission and 135th/136th Sessions of the Council have been postponed to December 2020 except the topics to be dealt with by paper-based consultations before June 2020 according to the proposed arrangements.
